Care that should be taken by the patient after tooth extraction:
- put on an hour of sterile gauze placed in the wound, tight between the teeth.
- Do not rub her mouth for a couple of hours. Spitting causes bleeding. It is better to swallow water, although it is a bit bloody.
- His mouth is closed and he does not talk much.
- Take an ice cream an hour after teething.
- For a few hours, it did not burn hot foods or liquids.
- Do not use straw for 24 hours to drink liquids. The suction resulting from the use of straw may cause bleeding to start again.
- If, after an hour, the bleeding continues or starts again, leave a sterile gas or wet bag of tea in the wound and squeeze the teeth together for about half an hour.
- If necessary, the pain reliever will use the wound after removing sterile gas.
- From the day after the toothpick, brushing other teeth should be resumed. Of course, for a few days, the wound area should be cleansed cleanly. Also, from tomorrow's day tooth extraction, mouthwash or salt therapy or chlorhexidine solution (once every two weeks for a week) is useful for preventing infection and helping to heal wounds.
